Example 1: Repeated overthinking

User input: I replay work conversations all night and keep assuming I said something wrong.

AI reflection output: You may be linking uncertainty with self-worth. The pattern seems to be: ambiguity leads to self-criticism.

What the user might notice: A user might notice that fear of judgment is driving the loop more than the event itself.

Example 2: Conflict in close relationships

User input: Small disagreements with my partner feel huge, and I shut down quickly.

AI reflection output: The response pattern may be emotional protection through withdrawal. You may be prioritizing safety over communication.

What the user might notice: A user might notice that shutdown is a protective reflex, not lack of care.

Example 3: Feeling directionless

User input: I am busy all day but still feel disconnected from what matters to me.

AI reflection output: The tension appears to be productivity without alignment. Your actions may not match your core priorities.

What the user might notice: A user might notice the gap between external progress and internal meaning.
